Record number of Tamils become Conservative councillors

A record number of Tamils, including many members of the British Tamil Conservatives, have won councillor seats at the concluded local elections.
The British Tamil Conservatives campaigned for Conservative candidates who stood for election across the Greater London area
and is pleased to see members of the community win in borough including Sutton, Hansworth and Harrow.
In Harrow, a record 7 Tamil candidates stood and it was the only borough to buck the general trend and take control of the council from Labour in London.
