Record number of Tamils become Conservative councillors
6 May 2022 A record number of Tamils, including many members of the British Tamil Conservatives, have won councillor seats at the concluded local elections. The British Tamil Conservatives campaigned for Conservative candidates who stood for election across the Greater London area and is pleased to see members of the community win in borough including Sutton, Hansworth and Harrow. BTC hosts Beer & Curry Night
7 June 2022 The BTC joined forces with the Tamil community to host a beer and curry night in the Houses of Parliament to thank the Members of Parliament who work tirelessly to support the community pursuit for accountability and justice in Sri Lanka. The event was attended by many members of Parliament and a large number of community members.
