BTC reception at Conservative conference a huge success

The British Tamil Conservatives hosted their annual reception at the Conservative party conference 2017 in Manchester.

The hugely popular event took place on Tuesday 3 October at the Midland Hotel and was attended by ministers, members of parliament, councillors and hundreds of party supporters and activists.

Patrick McLoughlin MP, Chairman of the party, Chris Grayling MP, Secretary of State for Transport, Sajid Javid MP, Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon, FCO Minister, Jackie Doyle Price MP, Parliamentary Under- Secretary for Health, Robert Halfon MP, Chairman of the Education Select Committee, Zac Goldsmith MP, Theresa Villiers MP and Andrew Rosindell MP addressed the event.

The Party Chairman declared the BTC annual reception as a landlmark event in the conference calendar.

The event was hosted by Paul Scully MP, Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Tamils and Matthew Maxwell Scott . Dr Arujuna Sivananthan of BTC delivered the vote of thanks.
